U.A.E.-Israel And the Middle Eastern Conflict

U.A.E.-Israel And the Middle Eastern Conflict

UAE flag DubaiFlag, Israeli, Israel, Symbol, National, Middle East

United Arab Emirates and Israel signed a treaty, where U.A.E. recognized Israel as a country, and Israel backed from its plan of annexing West Bank and the disputed territory.

The two country will set up formal diplomatic relationships, and sign bilateral treaties regarding investment, tourism, direct flights, security, telecommunications, healthcare, culture, environment.

U.A.E. is the third Arab country and first gulf country to recognize Israel. In 1978, Egypt being the first, and 1994 Jordan being second.

Wars Israel fought

1948(just after its formation) Egypt, Syria, Iraq attacked Israel.

1956 Suez Conflict

1967 Six Day War Israel captured Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip, East Jerusalem, West Bank , Golan Heights.

1973 Yom Kippur War

After the 1967 War, Muslim countries met and declared their famous 3 No's. No Peace, No talks, No Recognition.

US Elections and the Middle East

Interestingly, if a Democrat leader wins US Election, (Mr.Trump is an Republican) he/she will most probably restore the Iran Nuclear Deal. In that situation Israel and Arab countries would have to live with an empowered Iran. This UAE Israel deal will prepare both the countries to live in this situation.

If more countries follow UAE's footsteps peace can be restored in the Middle East.

Based on an article in Wall Street Journal which claimed that Facebook didn't targeted hateful/ hate spreading posts by BJP.  In 2009, critics noticed Holocaust deniers on platform. In 2015 same was discussed with CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Germany passed a law in 2017 regarding Hate Speech. Facebook has been accused of tolerating posts from POTUS Donald Trump.  It has come in notice that Facebook has asked legal office in India to conduct human rights audit of its platform. Facebook doesn't want to be making rules and regulations regarding content on its platform. Facebook deploys third party companies for monitoring content.  India's Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, protects platforms from having liability for content uploaded on them.  but Trump as well as current government in India, are worki...

India's economy for the rest of the year. For India to perform better in economic terms:-Two Factors are important Process of Gradual Unlocking With total lockdown in april, things are starting to change in August and September. This disrupts supply chains and businesses get affected. Industries risk expanding their business.  The second factor is revival aka stimulus package by the government.  When it is distributed? To whom it is distributed? And How much is distributed? Government has provided food for the poor, and lending facilities by various financial institutions.  By increasing capital expenditure, the government can begin a virtuous cycle of creating assets as well as providing employment.
